Smokin'! Somebody stop them!

Well, in regards to Smoking, I personally and strongly express that smoking is bad, as we all know it, that it's an addiction. Yeah I've had a few drags myself in the past and I must say there was no fascination of inhaling the fumes at all!

Majority of the people know that the 'fags' that smokers inhale contains nicotine, which is a harmful drug that affects your health, not only that it contains other chemicals. But still they disregard the facts!
You see horrendous images on cigarette boxes such as the one shown here, doesn't it make your stomach churn to see what smoking can do to YOU?

What I find despicable is pregnant women smoking, when they are fully aware of the harmful affects it has on the unborn. Prime examples: Kerry Katona & Britney Spears.



Why isn't the Government emphasising to the nation on how BAD this is?

Should the Government introduce a new law, where pregnant women are registered and tested every month, if nicotine is found in the bloodstream, they should be automatically be fined??
It would be ideal, as money dominates this world and with a new arrival on the way, money is foremost prominent.

Perhaps, the Government should set up a more immutable and permanent smoking cessation to tackle their addiction through these precious moments of carrying a life in their wombs.

Suggested topic for Week 12!

I would like to suggest and highlight an issue for week 12 that's pushed to one side in today's society and that is Sadism.


The definition of sadism is: "An act of pleasure in the infliction of pain or humiliation upon another person."


Imagine your first initial thought when you look at this picture.



This can unfold many perspectives about why is this picture also sexual sadism in reality is portrayed to be bad.


Is it a sexual desire for people amongst us, who may want to experience the pleasure or follow and practice this act?

Could it be that you may even follow this but rather keep it to yourself? Why?

But what is to be said in their support?

Either one way we should know, this suggestion may be explicit to students, but by taking this option we can unfold reality.

The suggestion is, let's visit a fetish club and get the downsides of WHAT do we see as being bad there. Personally meet someone sharing the background and voice their opinion and why he/she disregards the taboo restrictions.

This topic should be considered to be a mature investigation that would allow issues to be drawn out into the spotlight and be discussed.
