Response to Adam's Comment to My Blog on Infidelity

My response to: http://cantbethisbad.blogspot.com/2010/05/response-to-herjs-blog-on-infedility.html

Exactly Adam, humans will always be humans once in their lifetime, they should be happy with the commitment that they have promised to one another and should not find infidelity to be the answer to situations.

Animal Cruelty - How disgusting

It really saddens me to hear a story on animal cruelty, I find it to be very repulsive. I can't understand why people do it, where in their heart lies a cold, sick and twisted mind to hurt a innocent animal, I honestly don't know. I believe that people will back me up on this and agree that it is disgusting and inhumane.

I am an animal lover so to see humans do this to animals, it's beyond me. I shan't say no more on this apart from more should be done in order to completely stop this. Although, figures shown in 2006 that animal cruelty convictions are down by 20%, this is good but more still can be done as some sick people are still out there mistreating animals.

I agree with you totally Sharna, some jokes can be taken too far and sometimes can get discriminating, offensive or may even be racial.

Corruption - Good for Baddies

We normally hear about corruption occuring with international policing around the world, surprisingly even the UK policing crops up now and then.

Nearly half of all police forces in England and Wales have officers facing charges of corruption or dishonesty, according to a survey by The Times newspaper. Altogether 105 police officers in 19 out of 43 forces are under investigation.

Police should be serving the community and honour the civil service that they perform, and not bring shame to the force. An example of ex police commander, who was caught in taken bribes and was named and shamed by Met Police Authority as well as the society. Damn right it should be too!

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23820540-met-police-decision-due-on-future-of-jailed-commander-dizaei.do

I believe UK police are becoming a failure and a sham to society, as criminals are let loose down to bribery or the police destroy evidence due to corruption. Either way, I'm not a big fan of the UK police as it happens as they are too quick to let instances or events go, it's bad and wrong in morality.
What's the saying again? Crack down on crime?? Yeah whatever!

I totally agree with you, people should always think twice about what they are letting themselves in for, because before they know it, they have lost everything.

Response to Ruge's Comment to My Blog on Smokin'

My response to: http://aruge.blogspot.com/2010/03/response-to-herj-kaurs-blog-on-smoking.html

Precisely Ruge! I'm glad you understand lol.

You have exactly described my friend, the one time she smoked a cigarette infront of me and I looked on the cigarette package and said, "Eww, look at that picture!" and her calm response was, "That'll never happen to me". You can imagine what I was thinking in my head lol. Quit while you're flaming ahead!

I totally agree with you in some cases with the typical expectations within British Asian families.
Personally, I believe that there is nothing wrong with previous pre-marital relationships as you know for a fact that girls/women have been involved in relationships whether it's sexual or non-sexual but it does happen. It's the individual's choice to take decisions like these on.

In some cases, yes it does have a negative impact accordingly to the traditional minded families as they tend to find the fact to be utter disgusting. I believe this emphasises and pushes girls even more to react this way because British Asians families do not tend to let girls be independent at all and us girls need that to learn life.

I definitely agree with you especially about infidelity occuring amongst marriages when children are involved as it's bound to be more affective for the children, emotionally and socially.

Cheeky buggers!

As we all like to hear a good joke, or watch an audience with a comedian, there's always a limit on what the joke is on. For example, Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross fiasco taking the mick out of Andrew Sachs, really what was the whole point of it all?? They stupidly carried out this foolish prank which automatically lead to controversy with political rows and careers to go down the toilet. Literally.

Recently, comedian Jimmy Carr made a joke regarding British soldiers who had lost limbs in battle in Iraq and Afghanistan. For me that is totally unacceptable and many would agree too. There are soldiers as we speak who are fighting for this country and putting their life on the line and unamusing British comedians are making a joke of this. Quite embarrassing, I'd say! More information on what he did and his apology is on the link below:

A joke can hurt people in many ways and some people are oblivious to this fact, maybe they should think twice or thrice times on what they joking about.
