I totally agree with you in some cases with the typical expectations within British Asian families.
Personally, I believe that there is nothing wrong with previous pre-marital relationships as you know for a fact that girls/women have been involved in relationships whether it's sexual or non-sexual but it does happen. It's the individual's choice to take decisions like these on.

In some cases, yes it does have a negative impact accordingly to the traditional minded families as they tend to find the fact to be utter disgusting. I believe this emphasises and pushes girls even more to react this way because British Asians families do not tend to let girls be independent at all and us girls need that to learn life.
